Dearest Friends,  
2020 has been quite a year.
As you already know, we couldn't have our wedding as planned. BUT we have decided not to let COVID-19 steal the day that we had wanted to celebrate our love. Our union would have been illegal not very long ago. (Perez v. Sharp 1948, Loving v. Virginia) We hope this celebration gave some additional joy and light in this moment of not just a global pandemic, but a nation yearning for change in the face of the horrors of racism that still exist. 

So in keeping with what is now all the rage… we threw a zoom party on June 20, 2020.  We will post the video here when it is ready.

We look forward to actually making it legal when our families can gather, but because of technology we were delighted to celebrate together across the miles.

Call it a trailer, call it a commitment ceremony, call it a reason to gather and acknowledge that Jen and Edgar have decided to stand by one another through ups and downs. Thick and thin.
